Ahhh the Holidays, family, food, and good times are on the menu, but many people are not aware that feeding traditional holiday treats to your cat or dog, could be dangerous. Thanksgiving foods like turkey can bring on stomach issues for your four-legged friends. Be sure all meat is fully cooked, and boneless to avoid harmful results. Cats tend to be allergic to herbs which can be found in stuffing, and other items on a traditional Thanksgiving menu so again avoid sharing. Allowing pets to get in on the taste testing during dessert prep is also a no, no, raw dough like cookie dough or breads, when consumed by pets could actually rise in their tummy, causing discomfort or an even more serious emergency.
