Summer pet management:
We all know that summers in our region is hard on humans and animals alike. It’s a real challenge for #petowners.
I will put forth some tips that would make it a bit easier for you to take care of your fluffy friend.
1. Water management:
You have to make sure that your #pet is well hydrated throughout the day, for that you should put water in several places for them.
Keep the exercise to the minimum. Of course, you can take your dog for a walk and play with your cats indoors but no heavy workouts especially outdoors, because it can make your pet lose water very fast and become dehydrated.
Some people like to shave their heavy furred pets and some like to trim the fur shorter. Both of these treatments are acceptable but if you shave your pet then you shouldn’t let them sit on a heated surface.
4: Symptoms of a heat stroke:
Panting, breathlessness, blue or purple gums, and weakness are some of the signs of a heat stroke and you should take your pet a vet right away.
These are some of the tips to make your pet safe during summers and save yourself from the hassle of going back and forth to the doctor’s office again and again.
